‘Ascending Dragon’ and ‘Descending Dragon’ are two separate, but related artworks created by Hokusai somewhere in the late 18th or early 19th centuries. Painted on silk with ink and tint, they would originally have been wall hangings decorating a wealthy home in the Edo period – and now you get to wear them on this stunning bodycon midi dress. Epic.
